About Me

My name is Rochelle and I live on the Oregon coast with my husband and children.

In my spare time I love to research my family's varied histories and while doing so I discovered that my maternal grandfather's family is from Warren county and surrounding areas. In fact, my maternal great-grandfather's sister, Lelia Mary (Wheeldon) Justus, lived in Carlisle with her husband, Luis Bauman Justus, and their children for many years while many other members of the family lived in Hartford.

Knowing this, I decided I would like to know more about the places my relatives have lived and started trying to learn about the communities in which they lived. That brought me here! I look forward to learning about the community (and the types of gatherings you guys have) and hope to one day visit the area and see it for myself!

About Me

My wife, Sandy (Peterson) Gehlbach and I are very pleased with all that has been done in preserving the Randleman House.  It was our hopes and wishes that generations to come will be able to enjoy and learn about the area's history from visiting the house.

I'm enjoying retired life while Sandy continues to work in healthcare as a RN,MSN.

Keep up the good work !
